調查機構網站BackgroundChecks.org近日針對紐約州各學區的學生表現、輟學率、學校資金以及地區貧困率等多方面因素，發布全州9577個學區排名。具有全國最大公校系統的紐約市，並沒有學區進入前100名榜單。而位於長島、華人居民眾多的的曼哈塞學區(Manhasset Union Free School District)、 傑瑞柯學區(Jericho Union Free School District_)、花園城市學區(Garden City Union Free School District)、賽奧塞中心學區(Syosset Central School District)以及大頸學區(Great Neck Union Free School District)均榜上有名。

根據這份排名，曼哈塞學區以其高達98%的畢業率和99%的學生英語成績達到合格，榮登榜單第一名。傑瑞柯學區排名第四、花園城市學區排名第九、賽奧塞中心學區排名第13、大頸學區排名第23。

位於紐約上州威徹斯特郡(Westchester County)的萊伊城學區(Rye City School District)排名第二，拜然丘中心學區(Byram Hills Central School District)排名第三，排名第五的為威徹斯特郡Irvington Union Free School District。
